My name is Molly Elizabeth.
Writing has been a passion for me since a very young age, and I aspire to be a well-regarded author. My parents raised me in a good Christian environment, and I accepted Christ as a very young girl. He has shaped my life and is mainly responsible for the person I have become today.
My friends are my life support. I am constantly over at their houses and practically live on thir couches. They are the ones who edit my stories, and they are the ones who tell me which parts of my writing to keep and which to toss. Without them, my writing would be an absolute mess, and I love them all without question (and sometimes without reason).

I am back from the competition!!!!! Overall, I made tenth in the world, and the team i was on made fifth.
Which is'nt bad at all ...I mean, tenth in the world is pretty awesome, but I still wish I could have placed higher. I always aim for the gold, and this time I came close, but no cigar. maybe i'll do better next time!!!

Today, I am packing for a trip up North to the finalists' writing competition.
My short story submission went to this competition in advanced, however that is not the only element of the competition this weekend. I will also be placed on a team with three other individual writing finalists, and together we will write a story from four different perspectives (each person on the team gets a different perspective). It is the first time I have gone to this competition, however my coach has gone with other people from my reigon before, so she has told me wht to expect. This year, the international theme is "child labor."
Wish me luck!

Recently, my short story The Severity of Certain Results has gained international attention.
It was deemed the honor of being in the top ten short stories submitted by teenagers around the world. The selections were chosen from thousands sent from Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Untied States. Sadly, my story did not make it to the top five, and therefore will not be published in the big book that the top five stories will be published in. So instead, I am going to send it soon to a publisher and see if I can get it published myself. There are links by titles in the navigation to this short story and the other short story I have written. The other story, called The Perfect Disaster, was the story I had to submit on the state level in order to submit the other story to the international competition.
